خلاصه داستان:

ویروسی مرگبار در آمریکا پخش شده که طی چند روز باعث مرگ حدود 99 درصد شده است.در این بین افرادی به طور کاملا معجزه آسا در برابر این ویروس هولناک مصونیت دارن و حتی وقتی که پزشکان ویروس را به بدن یکی از آنها تزریق میکنند سیستم دفاعی بدن ویروس را نابود می کند. سرنوشت تعیین میکند که این افراد (که شخصیت های متعدد کتاب رو تشکیل می دهند)باید زنده بمانند و نقش خودشان رو در آینده ایفا کنن.

کمی که از این قضیه میگذرد تک تک افراد خواب های یکسانی را می بینند در این مورد که فردی شیطانی با چهره ای مخوف دنبال آنهاست و می خواهد به آنها اسیب برسوند و این خواب ها قسمتی از کابوس های هر شبشان می شود.در کنار این کابوس خواب شیرین پیرزنی مهربان که آنهاا را به سمت خودش دعوت میکنه هم میبینند و اینجاست که معلوم مشخص می شود شیطان این وضعیت دنیا را بهترین فرصت برای تصرف دنیا و انسانها میبیند و نماینده اش را برای این کار به زمین فرستاده. ....

خوب در اینجا اثر معروف آقای کینگ به نام هفت تیرکش از مجموعه کتاب برج تاریک رو براتون قرار میدم که میشه جبد اول مجموعه و تا جایی که بنده خبر دارم مابقی یا ترجمه نشده یا پولی هستش(-_-) 

«هفت تیرکش» جلد نخست از مجموعه رمان‌های «برج تاریک 1» نوشته کینگ است.

استیون کینگ را به داستان‌های وحشتش می‌شناسند. داستان‌هایی که نسل‌های زیادی از خوانندگان را شب‌ها بیدار نگه داشته است. کینگ که نویسنده‌ای به غایت شناخته شده است(این که تنی چند از شاهکارهای سینما از کتاب‌های او اقتباس شده‌‌اند نیز مسلما بی‌تاثیر نیست) به پرکاری‌اش نیز شهره است. وی تا کنون ۵۴ رمان بلند و ۲۰۰ داستان کوتاه نگاشته است.
